Data protection

What stops data leaving your Cloud PCs and, for the people allowed to see it, who used each Cloud PC and from where. Read live from your Microsoft 365 tenant: Seatvane keeps no copy of this activity, only a record of who looked at it.

Controls on your Cloud PCs

How Microsoft sets up every new Cloud PC. A Seatvane policy can tighten these for chosen people; nothing is allowed that Microsoft blocks by default unless a policy allows it.

Screen-capture protection

For people under strict data protection. When it is on, their Cloud PC shows black in screenshots, screen recordings and screen sharing on their own device. They must connect with the Windows App on Windows or macOS: Microsoft blocks the web browser, and phones and tablets may not connect.

Who used each Cloud PC, and from where

Sign-ins to Windows 365 from Microsoft Entra's sign-in log, which keeps the last 30 days. Each time you open someone's sign-ins, your name and theirs go into the audit trail.

Trace a watermark

If a photo or screenshot of a Cloud PC turns up, scan its QR code watermark and enter the IDs it contains. Seatvane shows whose Cloud PC it was and its recent connections. The lookup is recorded in the audit trail.

Microsoft 365 activity

Files shared outside your organization, Anyone links, and bulk downloads in SharePoint and OneDrive by the people who hold a Cloud PC, read from your Microsoft 365 audit log when you ask and never kept.

Who can see activity reports

Administrators always can. The read-only director seat can only while this is on: Off.

These reports show your people's activity. Tell your staff that this monitoring happens, for example in your acceptable-use policy and a sign-in notice.
